  1. 1. What if the highest mmr player does not do pvp anymore? MMR points will be hoarded by the highest ranked player.

    2. What if you lose all your mmr to zero, Does it make your mmr negative?

    3. Will there be enough players to match on each bracket?

    4. What if a player have two or more high ranking mmr characters and feeds all the mmr to his main character?

What's wrong with just 3 announce lines? Wouldn't that accomplish the same feat?...

Never mind forgot that was a global broadcast command... been a while... easier to just use timers and show a new message after x time... don't think you can do line breaks.

I am trying to accomplish something, anyways thanks!

  3. Hello, would it be possible to put a new line on announcement? I have tried \n and it did not work.

announcement "Hello Citizens of Midgard <insert new line>
Hope you are enjoying playing, <insert new line>

                              Have a good day ahead.",0;

    something like this.

I had, as I mentioned, i took the easy way by just disabling it for champions/monks since I don't know how to sprite.

I see thank you, this is frustrating for i have got the sprite at the kRO data grf file.

  5. Hello, whenever a champion uses. asura->bluepots->reloc->dangerous soul collect

this only happens when he's wearing vicious aura mind costume.

everyone on his screen crashes, is this a problem with the sprite? this does not happen if the transition was made slow, only if done the sequence fast.

Maybe you're the one needs the reading. If you read it all, the answer is all there. Even example are there.

Where is the explanation there if it affects the char ip and map ip? Straw sucker.

if you don't like technical terms, maybe think of it as an alias of your IP. You can also change your IP without needing to update the clientinfo.xml. just update your dsn.

He gave you the right answer and the complete one. If you don't understand it doesn't mean it's a spam.

    Read again.

it is used for what? is this something like I can use a domain name instead of IP at clientinfo.xml?

if it is, what is the difference of using a domain name from a normal IP? login server ip does not affect char and map server ips right?

Did i ask what is DNS? No.

Domain Name Servers (DNS) are the Internet's equivalent of a phone book. They maintain a directory of domain names and translate them to Internet Protocol (IP) addresses.

This is necessary because, although domain names are easy for people to remember, computers or machines, access websites based on IP addresses.

Information from all the domain name servers across the Internet are gathered together and housed at the Central Registry. Host companies and Internet Service Providers interact with the Central Registry on a regular schedule to get updated DNS information.

When you type in a web address, e.g., www.jimsbikes.com, your Internet Service Provider views the DNS associated with the domain name, translates it into a machine friendly IP address (for example 216.168.224.70 is the IP for jimsbikes.com) and directs your Internet connection to the correct website.

After you register a new domain name or when you update the DNS servers on your domain name, it usually takes about 12-36 hours for the domain name servers world-wide to be updated and able to access the information. This 36-hour period is referred to as propagation.

You have not answered the question sir. if there's a thumbs down; i have already given that to you; you are a forum moderator yet you spam posts and comments unuseful content.. i am talking about NEMO patcher's diff behavior. please try to read.

The first step on your post was "Purchase a good VPS / Dedicated Server"...

So... why to purchase those things if he can make a localhost server?

He should spent money first and then start thinking about the next step?

Of course that he have no idea about rA, thats why i said that he should't buy anything if he can make a localhost server for free first...

You can rent a good vps which can run rAthena for 2$ a month, testing and exploring on a live server (which is not opened publicly of course and for personal use) is better than doing it locally. FYI

  11. Can someone with a good heart explain to me what is the meaning of "Enable DNS Support" and it is used for what? is this something like I can use a domain name instead of IP at clientinfo.xml?

if it is, what is the difference of using a domain name from a normal IP? login server ip does not affect char and map server ips right?

    Thanks
