  1. I'm quite interested in an answer, because I have exactly the same problem. Just a question xMiland, do you use this client to test your server? Because I was wondering if it can just be an error from the clientinfo included in the grf. But I didn't have time to unpack the grf right now. I should check later.

Well, otherwise I hope someone can help us!

Yes, I DLd the full client.

@Ranz and Anakid - I'll try those solutions later. Thanks for the reply.

  2. Try to put this in your trunk/db/packet_db.txt

  4. Hello. I'm new on installing rAthena. I installed mysql successfully and also rAthena I guess, since the server doesn't report any error messages. When I try to open my 2012-04-10 and try to login, it always says "Failed to authenticate" or "Rejected from Server" when I try to login.

Here's the screenshot that shows no errors.

    5ueeqg.png

    And here's my conf files.

    Thanks in advance !
  5. I would recommend you to make the script shorter. If I would like to edit the whole list of items inside the machine, I need to replace all the names, item IDs and the quantities. Like make a function and pass the item ID and the quantity as the arguments to make it more easy to configure the item list inside the machine.

  6. If you move your log tables to a 2nd database (like "logs"), they will still be accessible,

but the advantage is when you backup your "ragnarok" database, it won't take up extra space because you are not backing up the log tables.

Okay thanks a lot. Please leave this topic opened as soon as I've done setting it up, I might have some problems soon. Thanks.

*EDIT* Already done. It worked fine. Thanks a lot BrianL and for those who replied above. ^__^

  7. If your SQL databases are very big, the backup could take a long time.

During this time, the tables are locked, so the server can't run any queries and its MySQL connection times-out.

Do you have log tables in your SQL database (atcommandlog, loginlog, picklog, etc.) ?

If you move those to a separate database, that would make backups smaller and faster.

Yeap I currently have the logs at my SQL database. If I move them to a different database, will my future logs still be stored on the server logs with the different database?
