    Hello everyone,

    I've come today with very, very sad news - which will probably shock everyone who will read this.
    The project MidiCityRO is on ice - probably forever. I'll explain why and what happened in the past 6 weeks.

    Not too long ago the Admin/Owner of MidiCityRO - ,,Cyan Hijirikawa" went absent.
    No one could get into touch with him. So many things have been left behind (not only ingame stuff).

    It all started with Kyrellia (which is me) pming Grey the Fund Supporter & Partner of ,,MidiCityRO" about an open case, related about someone who provided 
    some Videos/Banners ect. for MidiCityRO. This person got not even paid 1/3 of that which was still owed. 
    After some investigation, which we had to do ourselves, (because no one could get in touch the the Admin/Owner) we saw that this person really didn't get the payment yet.
    (BUT the money for the Videos from the Staff-Account was gone already, even before the person agreed to make the Video for the Server).
    'Here you have to know, that the person who made the Video got paid from Cyan's personal PayPal Account and not from the Staff-Account, like Cyan & Grey did agree
    to before. Grey didn't even know that this Video-Deal was even made.

    And so, we of course were curious about what the hell is actually going on there and we investigated as much as we could and found ,,hell"..

    As you can see from the Screenshots, the payments which has been added to the Staff-Account, has been taken away from the Admin/Owner for stuff, 
    which was never provided (like RMS Ad's haven't been paid, but the money was taken from the Account).

    And probably for many other things, which we might not even know about.

    Fact is, he made several withdrawels form the Staff-Account into his personal PayPal Account, when everything can be paid via the Staff-Acount.


    Another case was, where Cyan asked Grey to lend him some money until next week - which he also never got back. (This is a personal issue, but I think its not 
    less important than anything else).
    'Here you should know that no one of us had any contact with Cyan since end of April.

    Also there was a horrible case for everyone who found out recently about that:
    We had a Donator, who wanted a personal Pet. He also paid the money on Cyan's personal PayPal Account, instead of the Staff-Account.
    He accepted his Donation, even tho at this time we had NO spriter to work with us. As you can think yourself, the Pet was never delivered to the Donator..

    The GePard is also running on Cyan's Account, and we cant do anything about it. Grey invested 100$ into GePard for nothing - because Cyan didn't even 
    make the payments for it (so it's running out). The currently "Beta/Test Server" will probably shut down in the next couple of days. He also owns the Accounts for the Website, 
    Forum and Control-Panel, which we can't do anything about. Sadly...


    Today we had a Staff Meeting - obviously without Cyan.
    Everyone is shocked and many still cant believe what happened. We are all unbelieveably mad about the current situation and how things got out of hand.
    We will report Cyan to PayPal, RMS, RAthena and so on. 
    Everyone of us, especially ,,Grey" invested a lot of time, effort, passion and money into the Server, which is now going down because of a single individual name ,,Cyan".

    We were struggling about revealing all the truth to everyone, because it probably wont make us look much good in those cases.
    But here we are, providing Screenshots, Information and so on, because we hate keeping secrets and we know that we didn't do anything wrong.

    We will message everyone who donated to the Server as soon as possible to hopefully find a positive solution for this.


    We are very, very sorry to bring such news upon all of us, but the truth has to be told.
    Everyone is sad that the Project ends like this..

    (i know the big onsen looks kinda .... shit with all those same looking stones but atm i reaaaally cant be bothered to somehow edit it lol) >.<

    Browedit "servername.dll" error q_q

    well.... somehow i managed to fix it ... ive pasted the map into my first made that ive done (that didnt had any errors<.<) and it worked o_o

    idk what it was... but now i have also a .location for the "buggy" map ~ maybe it was this? still no idea what its for but im glad its fixed lol

    Alright, well the aeva.dll issue is something specific to your server; you'd have to ask the person who created your server what this is. This DLL is not normally present.

     

    Do you have access to the server files? You need edit the following server-side to add new maps : 

    conf/maps_athena.conf  (not necessary since you are overwriting an existing map)

    db/map_index.txt  (not necessary since you are overwriting an existing map)

    db/(pre-)re/map_cache.dat   (<- most important one really, you have to restart the server afterwards too I believe)

    The cursor/ground bug can be resolved by re-patching your map in map-cache when it's 100% completed. By this I mean that the gats should have also been properly set. Right now, it's calculating the wrong height/gat ratio.

     

    The servername.dll bug sounds like you're using something that was protected with Secure GRF, but I may be mistaken. Unfortunately it's difficult to provide a solution for this without further details.

    Hey o/

     

     

    I've made a map... so far, so good.

    I could log in into to map for like 1 min >.< then i got the  "servername.dll" error ... when im trying to warp on the map with another char or try use the same that is on the map, it gives me right the error >.<

     

    what have i done? T_T

     

    (i havent used any custom items or something like that) D:

     

     

     

    before it crashed the ground was also buggy >_< aaand i dont know why... look where the mouse is and where i can click /swt
