  1. unidentified Names are for when the item is not identified by a magnifier and obviously u can see what identified Names are.

DisplayName = the name to be displayed for the item when you see the item in any window.

ResourceName = basename (name without the extension) to use for item's drop sprite & act, collection image and inventory image (same file used for showing in equip window and storage window).

DescriptionName = description for the item.

so what you need in your case is to see what your item images are named as .. if its darth_vader.bmp then you put

    identifiedResourceName="darth_vader"

you can also use same DisplayName, ResourceName & DescriptionName for both identified and unidentified stuff.

  2. fail concept. because it indeicates that ever player who is inflicted by this system is playing since the start of the server.

    example:

Player 1 is playing from day 1: started to level his first character and bought some red potions for 50zeny. he is able to kill 300monsters with these potions.

Player 2 starts playing on day 100 when the inflation is allready going his way and a red potion is not costs 50zeny anymore, its costs 80zeny. he is only able to kill 170monsters with these potions.

both had the same build, but you gave the player who comes new to your server a disadvantage as he have to pay more for the potions in the same situation then another player some weeks ago.

in the real world its maybe working, but in a game where you are starting completly from 0. this system is fail.

    good point.

One idea I am thinking (maybe stupid) - Add an exclusion list for items that would not be suffered by the inflation system.

We could include Items like red pots & the like that would not contribute much (if not 0) to zeny increase. /hmm

    *waits for counter point*   /ok

  3. It seems like the usual occurance with major projects like this.

    Awesome build up of excitement.

If you really are losing interest, then shove it onto github.

if you are not losing interest, shove it on github anyway.

either way, there is some people who would help.

it seems many people are capable to creating a map viewer, but it never proceeds further than this stage :(

... i was very excited for this project, and really hope something more comes out of it

I agree with Yommy on this. Community projects progress faster than stand alone stuff. Put it on Github or some repository you like and let people in if you are having less time to spend on it - after all your real life matters more.
