I am currently using a Windows 8 64 bit computer and I am able to run my RO before. I had some virus in my computer so I re-installed it with the same OS. After re-installing I am now getting this error.
What I did is I tried searching on Google on some resolution about this. I installed some C++ Redistributable files in my computer and following some guides but that didn't resolve the issue. I then tried to install a Windows 7 64 bit but same error happens. I even tried installing a Windows 7 32 bit and even Windows 8 32 bit! Same issue. I tried running the sxstrace.exe and still no go. I even tried running it on compatibility mode and even run as administrator. If anyone can help then it'll be greatly appreciated.
PS.
I even tried talking to the server owner and he couldn't reproduce the issue lol. Thanks!

I only used the missing 2DLayerDir_F.lua there... change it manually (rename) then copy it

I used the links below but it didn't work. I also ran the bat file that translates the lua to lub file but still no go.
I'm at lost... Thanks for the help though.

How to fix this?
This is popping up whenever I open loki.exe however I can still play the game... the message only pops up whenever I double click loki. Thanks guys!

Me too, how can I edit the max level as well as the max job level? Also, how can I change the drop rate as well as how can I add some head gears? sorry, I'm really noob at this.
Also, how to change the max stat, Hommun Level, and item info/slots/effect/skill boost(or reduce). This guide is pretty straight forward on creating a server but didn't discuss how to edit it. Please shed some light. Thanks!

What was the packet ver for your client and where did you find it?

. Afterwards it brings up the client and says it failed to authenticate (5011).Anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix these errors?
I've tried the navi deletions mentioned before but these errors seem to persist. my files seem to be updated. I'm currently trying to use the 2013-07-03a client since I couldn't find the packet ver for any new clients.

I used 2013-07-17cRagexe.exe as well as 2013-07-17cRagexe.xdiff instead of the newer clients.After patching the client I went ahead and changed the "#define PACKETVER 20130717" in the Server/trunk/src/common/mmo.hI also rebuilt my rAthena-10.sln before I ran the server.it is Cassiel ... I got this error when I open the server, I can log in and play the more I wanted to get this error, how can I know? already deleted those files navi, and already spent lua decided to lub and type 2 errors most still have that. :/
I am also getting the same error however after I clicked on "OK" then that's the time that it will show my characters. I am also wondering how I can resolve this.
Also, how can I change the maximum level from 99 as max level to 255 or 500?

Sorry po kung medyo noob tong tanong ko pero kelangan ko talaga ng tulong. I can run the server side just fine however if I'm trying to run the client then that's the time that I'm getting this error.
Same error po nakukuha ko whenever I'm trying to create an account ( admin_M ). I'm using po a RO client version 2012-04-10aRagexeRE_S then binago ko din po yung PACKETVER from mmo.h sa conf files ko then na-rebuild ko na din yung rAthena-10. NaiPatch ko na din po yan via ShinsDiffPatcher. Eto po yung settings ko sa ShinsDiffPatcher. Ewan ko lang po kung tama yung settings ko kasi kinuha ko lang yan sa YouTube [rAthena - Sharpienero].

Nasubukan ko nga palang iUncheck yung Read Data Folder First pero same lang po yung results eh.
After pong ma-patch I went ahead and did the GRF Builder

So ayun po, yan ang issue ko. BTW, binago ko din po yung data.ini file ko. So ganto na po ang itsura nya.
[Data]1=PalitawRO.grf2=rdata.grf3=data.grfNagtry na din po akong magsearch pero wala akong mahanap. Nung una, [string "buf":10:attempt to call global `Iter_getTable' (a nil value) ang issue ko, tapos naging NO MSG (30), tapos eto na po... NO MSG (5011).
