View id, really? I think that there is no item (weapon, armor, shield or robe) with view id 2 or 3. Maybe this is the type of the item, no? About the char_opt, forget it. Thanks! =D

Try to convert it to 8 bits. Photoshop-> Image-> Mode-> Indexed color Then import an ACT table, and save.

Terrain-> Textures-> Objects-> lightmaps-> gats for last.
