most probably it replaced your iteminfo.lub
try replacing it with your old iteminfo.lub and see it if works

In pRO there is a change name coupon
where you can request for a change name -
Same thing with official server, this happen when you one player request for a change name to 23 character. Wherein the max character should only be 21.
for some reason it happened that way and was working on official server. One reason pRO server died.

My time knowing @Conflicts has been short, but my experience with the service has been great so far. (My website, http://www.novaragnarok.com is already being hosted by them)
What I appreciate the most is the direct support, instead of generic canned replies that come with "professional" hosting services.
Not only that, but they offer support tailored for RO server owners, which though by now I do not need nearly as much, I can see as a great benefit to new owners.
The point I'm trying to make is, I believe one negative experience, no matter how overwhelmingly awful it was, should not affect your opinion on other RO hosting services.
Not only that, but @Tokeiburu is part of the team. I mean come on, there's not a single more helpful person in the community than Tokei, and he prioritizes answering tickets over talking with me. ;~;

Lastly, I'm sorry to hear about this experience, I've heard the story now from two different people who lost their server, and now reading this thread, it terrifies me to think that this could have happened to me.

given, they have same 4GB Memory, SSD HD, same data center location, same network, same operating system.
I Chose "B" will it really affect game server performance for 500k players compared to A?
choose A since our emulator only run on a single core

what you need to worry is the location. What region will most of your players be, if you have an idea already i suggest get a server close to that region.
In my experience i prefer west coast server which has low latency on almost all region.

What ping is enough good?
300ms is it?
ping should range from 150~300ms

nope. still redirect from non http to https do not work for many pages on rAthena board.
Example: links in posts what are linked for http://rathena/org/thread_blabla
this link.......doesnt work...it's not even a valid URL.
for other post that within the forum, if the URL still doesnt work, I think just need admin to recache all the url i guess.
Invalid url wont work since rA uses cloudflare
