Can connect on host but not over LAN

I can only connect from the host computer, I can't connect from another client on the network
settings are as follows:
 

char_athena.conf         map_athena.conf      subnet_athena.conf

you can only change IP in clientinfo.xml

 

client A : setting your IP to 192.168.0.1

client B : setting your IP to 192.168.0.2

client C : 192.168.0.3

client D : 192.168.0.4

etc ...

 

edit your IP in clientinfo.xml to 192.168.0.1 and then give it to your another client ..

 

 

if you only play it using wireless or LAN only :D

right, the server is being run on  Lan address: 10.0.0.2                 client is on address: 10.0.0.3

so on the computer 10.0.0.3, the clientinfo.xml is set to 10.0.0.2  but it still doesn't connect, the server never even receives an attempt

my router uses 10.0.0.1+   not 192.168.0.1+

Maybe it is because of your firewall.

I've completely disabled the firewall and it still doesnt work :-(

even tried a different router just in case it was my router going out.

Hmm, are you still looking for the answer for this one?

Try to remove the modification in subnet_athena.conf. some problems are caused by the misconfiguration of subnet_athena.conf.. If you're still looking for this, I may be able to help you with this. PM me (I don't charge any payment)
