Need help with Thor patcher

Here's the thing. I made a patch using thor maker that contains idnum2desctable, idnum2itemdisplaynametable, idnum2itemresnametable, lua files folder, sprite folder and texture folder.

When I let my players patch they get the lua files and idnumfiles but the problem is, inside the sprite folder and texture folder the directories in there is being renamed.

¾ÆÀÌÅÛ4 became ¨ú¨¡AIAU

¾Ç¼¼»ç¸® became ¨úC¨ù¨ù¡íc¢¬¢ç

¿© and ³² became ¢¯¨Ï and ©ø©÷

even the sprite and act files were renamed from ³²_Brown_Avian_Wings and ¿©_Brown_Avian_Wings it became ¢¯¨Ï_Brown_Avian_Wings and ©ø©÷_Brown_Avian_Wings.

As for the texture files, I didn't get it from the patcher or it may have been lost somewhere but anyway I need to fix this patcher thing, if anyone could help then I would like to thank you. Sorry for my bad English and explaining skills, I don't have that much vision and knowledge to Patcher stuffs since this is my first time using one.

try to change this 2 (¿© and ³²) into korean language and patch it then the thor patcher will make it like this ¿© and ³².

I think there's a program called Gay Convert which translates everything in the folder named 'data'.

Hi Instinct,

As stated in my previous reply... you open the program, and it converts the characters inside the folder named 'data'.

Place the program outside of the folder named 'data'. Place the files you want to be converted inside the folder named 'data'. Run the program.

i have a little question i know about those but i was a little confuse about the thor when im applying my custom items it wont shows i mean i put them in right directory nothing it just become apple.when i try to look over my grf those files that i put is in the correct path and plus all corrected if i use my client read data folder first the item shows but when i just let my client read my .grf it wont show kinda weird

what client version are u using now? if 2012+ u have modify iteminfo.lua

i use 2012-04-10 client and i need to get modify my iteminfo.lub and when im going to make it patch instead unicode ill go for Acsii? is that correct?

yes, for client 2012+ dont forget to using lua514 for accname and accid

edit that iteminfo.lub using notepad++ i guess u have already now the structur of iteminfo.lub

thanks since i cant decompile my old .lub so i made a new iteminfo.lub with this http://svn6.assembla.com/svn/ClientSide/Lua_Project/System/ and this is my 1st time adding thru 2012+ for the patch since i added some custom items along with grf which is already fixed via data folders

dont recompile that iteminfo.lub just edit that via notepad ++ or other editor then save it. or simply u can rename that iteminfo.lua to iteminfo.lub and if u using 2012+ make sure ur client read GRF first
