free host with amazon?

well amazon offers 750 hr free vps, and after will charge u few cents per/hr, so basicaly u can create new account each mounth and config again and again... you can host everything including website. The free 750 vps have 1gb ram. and "moderate" trafic performance, but registration will require you a valid credit card, its amazon not a scam site, so i dont have to worry about that.

 

Im now setting up rathena with xampp on the vps,ofcorse this is not for a big big server but enough for a 500 user one and probably is ddos protected by amazon servers,  What do you guys think?

Actually i use AwS for other stuffs, actually i recomend u that if u go with amazon configure the proper alarms to know when you exced the free tier.

 

AWS charge 1 usd when u create your account, after that u can have free tier for 1 year (if u dont exceed the quota)

 

there u can configure your servers, but remember, they give you an empty box, u'll need how confiure everything or think about pay a preconfigured AMI
