I am referring to this old 2011 topic in eAthena where this guy has the same problem as I am having now. He is unable to get the Char, Login, and Map status showing "Online" but the Players Online is showing. And what the other guy suggested is to write a check function that says "if there are players online, assume server is up".

Can anybody guide me how to do this? Can anyone write the said "check" function for me please?.

This is the link to the original thread in eAthena.ws

Hi archilles89,

Try contacting your webhost provider, and request them to open your login/char/map ports for your webhost package to listen to your current server's IP. It may be blocked, that's why it's not able to detect the status properly.
