Alright so I have looked for a guide and none of them really go into detail. Basically my question is: I have the clientinfo.xml in MyRO.grf. I have extracted it and edited it in my data folder and made a patch. The only problem is that it is reading what is in my MyRO.grf instead of reading the one in the data folder. Could anyone explain to me how to make a patch editing the MyRO.grf client info in a patch. I can make patches to the data folder but I can't figure out how to create a patch that effects the clientinfo in MyRO.grf. Sorry if this is a noob question. I'm slowly learning :)

create a 08072013.grf

inside new folder name data

then put your clientinfo.xml there

save.

open your patchlist.txt

example:

20000 1 GRF 08072013.grf

then patching, it will replace the automatically.

if you have a time please read this.

I had read that but my problem was that the guide I was using was telling me to use .gpfs to make patches and you said grf and it worked. Thank you!
