So like, the server is running on a Modem. Speaking with a IT guy he says modems don't need to port forwarded if the computer is bridged to the internet. So what I did was that, I opened the login-server.exe. , char-server.exe and map-server.exe through the firewall and ran the server.
So few minutes later the server starts barfing out:
[info]: Closed connection from "LAN IP" [info]: Closed connection from "LAN IP"
Server runs fine with people logged in, just when that one - [info]: Closed connection from "LAN IP", disconnects all the people online is the main problem. I really dislike the fact that it will crash the map server.
Anyone have any ideas on what could be the problem, I know I've set the info correctly, Iv'e had this server for like 2 years and I haven't experienced anything like this. Only when I switched over to Low Rate it started giving me this. (And when my boyfriend moved to a different location and is now using a modem instead of a router for the server)
Another thing, I noticed when I try to multiple login to server the server just crashes. So one connection from my laptop and one from desktop. Its weird.. Anyone got anything on these 2 issues?
