So I'm using version 16+ and facing problems here and there. I have questions regarding updating.

1. Being an SHR server and having so many modifications here and there including src, can updating to the latest SVN mess up my files causing it not to start anymore?

2. Are the updates usually just src?

- Yes it will messed up your SVN, and it will cause a lot of errors when compiling.

- No, the updates includes other files in SVN.

Thanks. If you were me would you still update to the latest SVN and just fix the conflicts or would not update at all? Like right now I keep getting, "server received crash signal!"

Of course I prefer to update my SVN. I suggest you to create a patch of your update using tortoise SVN first. Then download the latest rA SVN.
