Hi everyone,

I've been working on switching from eAthena to rAthena, and we have decided to change clients as part of this process.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to resolve the "Your game's exe file is not the latest version" error.

I have checked login_athena.conf to ensure that the password MD5 hash check is off, and the client MD5 hash check is off. I have checked battle/client.conf to ensure that the packet version flag is set to 0xFFFFF. I have checked that the packet_db_ver in db/packet_db.txt is set to 30. Add in src/common/mmo.h, I have the PACKETVER defined as 20120410.

Why would I still be getting this error? Thank you for any help.

Because you are trying to login without harmony attach on the client.

I don't think that's the case.

The server doesn't use harmony.

Just thought I'd update this with the answer to my problem on the off chance someone else makes the same mistake.

From my first post:

I have checked battle/client.conf to ensure that the packet version flag is set to 0xFFFFF.

The packet version should be 0xFFFFFF. I somehow managed to inadvertently delete the last digit and didn't notice it.
