I wonder ...how to reduce/minimize the amount of RAM usage on a hosting server

dont apply many custom script or custom items on your server.

Sometimes depending on modified src files, there could be potential leaks. So there's that as well. It would be best if you got a good mount of memory if you have the money.

If not, there is a some hacks to kill services that aren't in use..

Some said that the logs on database consumes RAM. how do I remove this? or lessen?

in the logs_athena.conf file you can turn off logging?
