i get this error when i try to run the client >> can not init d3d or grf file has problem

i'm using miruku client from this thread http://rathena.org/b...h-january-2013/

i'm sure it's not a graphic problem, since i can run other games just fine

(such as: warcraft 3, starcraft 2 - even though lagging when i run sc2)

i double checked just to make sure, i have graphic drivers installed and direct x 9.0c

my Setup.exe has both of the first option available ( graphic setting & screen size )

and i have tried them all, but still got the same error

so now i think the problem is in the grf or maybe wrong config on my thor patcher

my thor config.ini

StatusFile='server.dat'
DefaultGRF='data.grf'
ClientEXE='RagexeRE.exe'

my only patch is clientinfo.xml

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="euc-kr" ?>
<clientinfo>
<servicetype>korea</servicetype>
<servertype>sakray</servertype>
<connection>
 <display>server name</display>
 <desc>Ragnarok Online</desc>
 <balloon>this is a tool tip</balloon>
 <address>my ip here</address>
 <port>6900</port>
 <version>25</version>
 <langtype>1</langtype>
 <registrationweb>my ip here</registrationweb>
 <yellow>
  <admin>2000001</admin>
  <admin>2000002</admin>
  <admin>2000003</admin>
 </yellow>
</connection>
</clientinfo>

i can't even get to the login screen, i got the error after the ahn sercurity loads

any help will be appreciated

thank you

You should update your Direct X and try again.
