Does anyone know how to setup rAthena using Xampp? Already found the same question on a thread but the answer isn't there so I'm posting this. Thanks in advance.

yes you can, you must go to http://localhost/phpmyadmin and import your database there and make a user, edit the user info with the info you made on inter_athena.conf

Thanks. Already done that but then it says "access denied for user 'ragnarok@localhost' (using password: YES).

Want to just try it first on my machine using localhost ip before making it live.

Is there a possibility that Win 7 denies permission because of UAC in phpmyadmin?

the username and password that you made on your char_athena.conf,map_athena.conf and inter_athena.conf must the same with the user you made on your phpmyamdin
