[QST] About patcher skins

Can patcher skins handle flash animations? Like animations for buttons and or some other things?

I don't think any patcher have yet support .gif format, but you can try make it a NoticeBox content to grab .gif as browser and target link to a batch file that starts .exe in the folder. (Sounds a lot thing to do haha)

well seems that i just have to wait for it to support then

anyways, is there a templete when making skins for patchers? is there some kind of layout i need to follow in order to make patcher skins? cause i've seen some works and it seems like they can manipulate where to put the loading/progress bar, news section (some doesn't even have one), etc.

No template, you can design your own any shape and put it in config.ini. Every buttons, images coordinate is configurable.

P/S: I'm saying Thor Patcher.

Yes, in .jpeg or .png If not mistaken.

Edit: If you said you are waiting for .gif support, then its not gonna happen until someone revive the Thor Patcher project. (Not sure if its open source tho, if closed someone has to do the reverse engineering)

Thor dont support gif but as an alternate you can use hover on your buttons

That is not what gif suppose to do, gifs can show numerous of images and yet OnHover, OnClick and the image itself is only total of 3

its a shame that patcher skins don't support .gif files... i planned to put little animations in my future patcher skin projects but oh well. I guess the hover buttons will do.
