How to update rAthena? Guide pls setting up svn

My friend gave me a old version of rathena i want to upgrade/update it. I download TortoiseSVN what should I do next? thanks in advance!

You can't update it unless you check out fresh. So.. Make a new folder -> right click -> check out -> enter rathena repository -> done.

You can't update it unless you check out fresh. So.. Make a new folder -> right click -> check out -> enter rathena repository -> done.

can I copy my conf, src, 3rdparty...etc from old version to lastest version of rAthena and then compile again? .... is this correct to update rAthena?

Yup, you can replace old files.
