If that's truly the case, then anyone who actually buys those ripped sprites is a colossal twat. Most of those sprites can be found on Gaia Online. Not that I'm encouraging anyone to rip/steal mind you, but it doesn't take much to rip sprites and adjust them a bit so they semi-function in the game.
