Database on localhost and CP on webhost

Ok, nag-eerror kasi kapag ni-coconfigure ko ang ceres cp. Hindi ko alam kung paano ko i-allow permission yung webhost para ma-access PC ko. So far nka off naman lahat firewalls ko and ayaw parin mag-connect. Eto nga pala exact error..

"Warning: mysqli_connect() [function.mysqli-connect]: (HY000/2003): Can't connect to MySQL server on '112.207.3.203' (111) in/home/a9943513/public_html/cp/install/install.php on line 49"

I think its a permission error.

You just have to make sure na may permission ang IP ng web server na magamit local database mo. Also don't forget to port forward port 3306.

Port forwarded 3306 beforehand. So far, gumamit ako ng grant command sa mysql which is exactly like this..

grant all on *.* to 'my username'@'%' identified by 'my password'; so basically halos lahat dapat pwede na i-access yung database ko. But so far ayaw parin. I already commented out the bind-address line my.ini. I'm using MySQL Server 5.0.

So far hindi parin nagana.

I think yung bagong versions ng MySQL, d mo na kailangan ng bind-address.. Have you tried using newer versions?

Hindi pa eh. Mejo complicated kasi yung bagong version niya. Yung may workbench ba yun? Mas sanay ako dun sa may Query Browser

As of now nagbago yung error number nya, from 111 to 110. Sir magnetix if you won't mind. Bigay ko sayo ip add ko and try mo if you can connect to my database.
