Cannot Connect to my own server.

Hello, i just tried to make a Private server of ragnarok using eAthena but i guess im not successful.. already did the step by step methods. but still cannot connect.. i changed the login_ip char_ip map_ip to 127.0.0.1 (default one) because when i try to put my WAN ip i get to see connection errors which i do not know how to fix.. then when i tried to run the server again.. using 127.0.0.1 i do not get errors.. i just, cannot connect to the server after creating a character and pressing enter.. it says failed to connect to server.. anyone pls? that can actually help me? thanks a lot if there is one contact me pls. cant go wrong but did you edit; char+map+subnet_athena.txt&clientinfo.xml?

yes, i did edit it.. wait here is what i did put..

char_athena:

login_ip: lan ip, port 6900

char_ip: Wan ip port 6121

map_athena:

char_ip: lan ip, same

map_ip: Wan ip port 5121

subnet_athena:

255.0.0.0:lan ip:lan ip

that's it.. so where do you think i did wrong?

This is how i can connect within my own network;

Map; char=lan / map=wan

Char; Log=lan / char=wan

Sub; sub:lan:lan

Inter; all 127.0.0.1

Leave the portsnumber alone and forward them also in you're router and make sure you're antivirus and windows firewall let it trough.
