I successfully setup my server according to the rAthena wiki and 3 of the servers in running in my windows PC

and I've read that I need to setup the client in order to connect to the server

http://rathena.org/wiki/Connecting#Client_Side

But I don't understand what it means by HEX, Data folder etc

how do I configure it?

If you want to know your IP...

Use the search menu in your computer/laptop and search "cmd.exe", open that and once the cmd pop out, type "ipconfig" you can see the IP "192.168.x.x"

Maybe you can follow this guide :)

I know how to get my Ip

but i'm confuse there's so many different clients? like in this forum there's english setup, Kro, RagEXE.. etc..

also when the guide mean RO folder is a blank one or a normal IRO client?

1.
Download FullDATA from my site.
Link

2.
-Extract FullDATA to your RO folder so you have a data folder in your RO folder.
-Inside data folder, look for sclientinfo.xml and open it with Notepad. Put your WAN IP (Internet IP) there so you can login to your RO Server to play.
-Send your sclientinfo.xml to those ppl who want to play your server or just tell them your WAN IP.
-Now, just download Hexed client and extract to your RO folder. Use this Hexed client to play RO game.

Can a mod move this post to the correct section? This is for client releases, not client support.

any help guys?

I've downloaded a file call Miruku http://rathena.org/board/topic/54426-miruku-15122011/

and after installation of that file I add the http://rathena.org/board/topic/54190-release-basic-rathena-client/ inside the Miruku folder

I change the clientinfo.xml to my localhost IP

and I try to connect

I get rejected by the server..

am I doing it right?

Well what have you set the configuration to in your conf folder for connecting? Did you set your wan/lan IPs right?

As I said before what I did was downlaod a Miruku Client + client data from here and put inside Miruku folder

after that I open the client with rathena.exe inside the folder and this is what I get

I'm not sure if this is the correct steps though, please tell me if i'm doing smthg wrong

You need translated data. I'd say use the data from this: Fixed Palettes it's my fixed version of this release: http://rathena.org/board/topic/54190-release-basic-rathena-client/

It auto-increments by itself, are you using a CP like FluxCP or are you just registering a new user directly through the MySQL database?
