I'm using the latest 3CeAM-TXT-650[Trunk] and I noticed that the monsters don't have the renewal stats. Do we have to manually change the monsters? o.o cuz I really hope not. Or is there another way to get the renewal mobs?

I haven't seen 3CeAM's files but try checking mod_db2 maybe they stuck them there. If not, try searching eA's forums if anyone has shared database info about them. If you can't find anything, then you'd have to enter it yourself.

umm 3ceam only focuses on old mechanics, so to use renewal mobs im not really sure what you have to change. YOu would have to use a server with renewal mechanics for the mobs to make sense as well i believe.

I know the db yo ucan get from either reAm or chilly's svn i think.

Could you please link me to them?

I got this http://www.eathena.w...howtopic=271380

so can I just take the mob db and replace mine with it? Or is there more to this whole thing like src edits n such?

Assuming the structure of mob entries are still the same, then yeah.

Also, don't forget about the mob_skill_db else your monsters would be skill less and would just attack normally.

I have a feeling though there's more to this than replacing the files. Like, I saw the defense of some of these boss monsters, and they are way higher than how they used to be.

The reason I'm using 3ceam is because of 3rd classes. So beside 3ceam are there newer eathena svns that has renewal stuff and 3rd classes?

yea meaning you need renewal mechanics or the server won't really be "right". rAthena svn has renewal mechanics i believe? Also bRathena has it too pretty much completed.

The numbers are higher than they used to be in these monsters because Renewal changed how everything is calculated.

If you want to fit these monsters into a non-renewal setting, you'd have to adjust the numbers yourself as you see fit.

She doesn't want Renewal Mechanics.

The one you get off the SVN is not compiled. You have to compile it yourself.

http://rathena.org/wiki/Compiling

Follow the directions under Vision Studio.

Did you get it to work now?

Yes I got it to work, although this revision is more of a test revision and it says in the map server that we shouldn't use it for a real server :P

I guess I'll wait til a stable version gets release by rathena /no1

@Arcenciel & Judas: thank you both for your help. really appreciate it :)

The map server says that by default if you're using the normal s1/r1 password. Change that and you should be good.

It isn't recommended to use TXT for a real server anyway.
