Well, I posted this problem in the old forum but I don't get any replies. I hope posting it here would earn responses.

I started creating a new local server after several months. I downloaded the latest kRO client from RMS when I knew that ragray doesn't support the latest patch anymore.

when I tried adding custom maps on the server, I'm having errors though I have the map files in a grf but when I extract the map files in the data folder, it works. I don't know how the client works anymore. I tried removing the DATA.INI yet I'm not having any errors logging in...

Can someone clarify this to me please???? Or am I doing something wrong.

Well, you do not want to delete your DATA.INI since that's the file the client reads all the GRF's to use from. Is the GRF in which these maps are packed into mentioned in the DATA.INI?

This wiki page explains the format of [wiki]DATA.INI[/wiki]

Also, did you make sure your client was diffed with the option [Data](7) Enable Multiple GRFs ?

@Stapo: Why didn't I think of that before XD.

I switched from Yetsuki's 2010-07-21a to 2010-07-30a which I diffed myself

Thanks, BTW. Please close this topic now.
