Working Skill/Magic Critical with accurate effects.

Hey there, question is in the title. Does anyone have any working Skill/Magic Crit modification with working Crit effects?
I'm aware of this thread, but the diff is very outdated and even manually applying the changed lines it just leads to compilation errors.

I'm also aware of the `DamageFlags: Critical: true` definition in skill_db.yml, but even that doesn't seem to affect magic skills. This flag also does not cause the client to play the critical effects with the sound/graphics of a normal critical hit.

Does anyone have any releases/diffs that would implement this functionality on the current codebase? I'm also happy to pay for this feature, feel free to DM if that's the case.
