Barter Shop (increase item req limit from 5 to 10?)

Hi, would like to ask, is there a way I can increase the barters hop item requirements to buy a certain item from 5 to 10?

As you can see, I tried adding more than 5 items and I got this error.

I plan to use it as a replacement of the traditional Quest NPC that we are used to.

The errormessage already tells you what is wrong. The Barters don't support more than 5 items.

I am not sure why the limit is hard-coded to five, if it is because the original behavior is like this or because the client doesn't support more than five.

What you could try though is to raise the limit and recompile rathena. You can find the definition of the limit in the mmo.hpp on line 117.

curious to the result of this, is it client limitation or can be increased? if can be increased did you test the limit?

it can be increased but I don't know on the client side since whenever I tried to add item from 5 to 6 the other item requirement will exceed the shop window limit.
