differene rathena & herc Flux CP

Hello community,..
i always had this question, .. what is the difference between rathena and herc FluxCP ?
now when i am trying to make my own server, i decided to buy a website from some designer.. he asked me which emulator ?

well, i am not sure on it, but isnt both fluxcp the same ? and if i buy anyone right now, later i will have to pay again for the conversion as per the designer.

i dont understand what is the difference between FluxCP rathena and FluxCP herc.
i would really be glad if community answers my question.

why does a designer makes 2 different copies of same design 1 for rathena and 1 for herc ?

The databases are different so the sql statement must match. Ours has features and pages that match the content of the emu.

From a designers perspective they shouldn't need to know which you are using as the theme engine within both versions of FluxCP is the same. I guess they're still stupidly bundling out of date versions with their designs
