How to change columns number for the Refine_db.txt

As The title suggest , im looking for the file that i can change the number of colums for the Gear refining process , Ive Already modified the following files:

refine_db.txt

status.h

and refine.txt

(files link down there)

Also, I've read somewhere that when one need to do a DB modification that he needed to de-compile and recompile the server files, if so can you point me in the right direction for a windows user?

Note: Im still able to run and play in said server.

Update: After a while of searching I found #define MAX_MOB_DB 5000 in mob.h so I guess that something similar with the refine columns must be in here somewhere... ^^'
