how to secret or encrypt .lub file

hello
i need to secret or encrypt .lub file this file is not in grf
or how to change path for this file so no one can find or stealing it

encrypting a file that is not in a grf would probably make your client unable to read it  :P (apart from the lub extension obviously but any grf editor can read it anyway)

 

I think there's no other option that putting it in your grf.

Just delete it and it'll read the one in the grf instead, I did that to put all of my custom files in one grf

the file i need to encrypt it is System/itemInfo.lub
if i delete it the patched will not work

Oh yeah you're right, you can't do this with the system files ><

 

Try to add your custom items in a grf instead, this way you'll be able to encrypt your custom items at least

Bit with NEMO patcher you can rename your .lub and even change the folder.
