Updating my server files (pony vps)

My server is hosted in ponyvps. But they do not have any guide on updating my trunk to the newest one...

Is there any guide on doing this? Any server owner there that is also hosted on ponyvps... Can you help me?

You can update your trunk via putty using this command promp...

git pull = If you download your trunk from git repository

svn update = If you download your trunk from svn repository

Hi sir. Thanks for the reply. Are you familiar with ponyvps? 

Im hosting my server to them and it is ready made already when it is giving to me.

Can I apply that one on the vps and server files I have?

How can I update my server files or my trunk? Its running on linux. Sorry noob here.

Windows: 
- stop your servers
- right click your rathena folder
--> SVN Update
- recompile
- restart servers


Linux: 
- stop your servers
cd into your rathena folder
svn update
- recompile
- restart servers

cd into your rathena folder

svn update

I cant understand "cd into your rathena?"

 

Im hosted in ponyvps.

 

My folder only name is "trunk"

Run cd /root/trunk. Also, you may try to contact PonyVPS for support. They can help you regarding your issue.

Im new to linux environment and I already contacted them but they will not do it for free.
