Can't get a client working.

I've tried following various guides on this site, and I'm still unable to get a client running.

I'm looking for the latest renewal client to connect to my Rathena server.

 

I've tried every guide and all turn to the same result of the client "Not responding" Any tips?

 

 

To be more clear:

I downloaded KRO from here: http://www.nickyzai.com/?p=kro
And used the 2013-08-07 client/Diff from here: http://k3dt.eu/Ragexe/unpacked/

 

I used the Following Diffs:

Disable Ragexe Filename Check
Disable HShield
Disable Packet Encryption
Enable Multiple GRFs
Ignore Missing File Error
Ignore Missing Palette Error
Increase Headgear ViewID to 5000
Increase Zoom Out 50%
Load ItemInfo.lua before lub
Read Data Folder First
Read msgstringtable.txt
Read questid2display.txt
Translate Client In English
Use Normal Guild Brackets
Use Ragnarok Icon
eXtract MsgStringTable.txt
eXtract txt file strings

do you use the Full_kRO_Renewal_20150301.exe from nickyzai site?

if so, it looks like it has a broken file in it, that file in skin folder seems to be broken

The ROClientside/Translation is Empy

Where can i download this? i downloaded this one https://github.com/llchrisll/ROenglishRE/archive/master.zip but the files are incomplete

diff with restore login window

 

your clientinfo.xml <version>45</version> indeed of 46 i think

 

turn off others  diff to see if you get some clue

 

- Ignore Missing File Error

I disabled those and the client runs without any errors but still stops responding

 

Here are the steps I followed to set up my folder:

1. Install KRO from http://www.nickyzai.com/?p=kro
2. Patch with rsu-kro-rag-lite.exe and rsu-kro-renewal-lite.exe
3. copy the translation to the client folder (https://github.com/ROClientSide/Translation)
4. edit clientinfo.xml to match my server
5. compile data folder to "cdata.grf"
6. edit "DATA.ini"
    

[Data]
1=cdata.grf
2=data.grf
3=rdata.grf

      7.  run client

      8.  client opens and stops responding

Wow! Thank you so much! I couldn't get that specific file to work, however I downloaded ragnarok via steam and copied the skin folder over and it worked!! Thank you so much, you're a lifesaver!
