[Configuring client to talk to RathenaWebBuiltin]

on flux/config folder contains some setting you need to change

....specially the application.php you need to match them with the rathena server and diff version client of your game

You can go ingame and type command "@version" and it would show you the rathena commit version you are running and just go to official rathena github page and just match commit version

also i would recommend upgrading to latest rathena

This is the best guide i've seen so well documented and easy to follow also just additional info there a a bug on Laragon Portable were it does not allow it  being run on folder name with space so it's recommend to extract Laragon Portable at Local Disk C root directory  such as  C:\laragon-portable\laragon.exe

[Can't compile successfully]

You do not need to change Microsoft Visual Studio it compiled completely fine on Visual Studio Express 2017 aka Community Edition

On right side the "Solution Explorer" just find "ryml" and right click it and choose "Properties" then from that "Configuration Properties>Platform Toolset" then change that to "Visual Studio 2017 (v141)"  the default value is "$(DefaultPlatformToolset)" which is causing the error at this point you can now compile ryml without error but just to be sure   you can change  "Window SDK Version" to "8.1" too ...
