    Website IP Address different from VPS

    I dont know if this is the right place for the topic but ill ask it anyway.

    I have a website installed in my VPS and I want the website to have a diff IP from my VPS server (so that that VPS IP wont be exposed) and in my clientinfo.xml I want to put the website name as an address.

    So my question is: How do I not expose VPS IP address in my website but use the website domain's name in clientinfo.xml as an address?

    Izlude map issue

    it's all about the gat file

    use the .gat that you are already using in your data folder , or first grf

    put the gat file in your import mapcache , and everything will work

     

    if you changed the gat file in your grf too , you maybe added a wrong gat file to the map, so don't edit the gat file(replace it) as long as you don't know what you are doing

    That was what I did. But I need a visual representation of the DB.

    Izlude map issue

    if you are having trouble with your tiles that notwalkable and walkable . you are almost there man ! you already change the GRF and added your desire izlude map but you did not update in the server files . Update your map_cache using weemapcache

    • 1. Open your server map_cache inside db/pre-re/map_cache or db/re/map_cache
    • 2. Click the file button
    • 3. Select your Updated izlude map rsw
    • 4. Hit the button of save.
    • 5. Copy the file created and paste it/use it to your server.
    • 6. Restart your server.

    I have the same problem.. im done with the client side and added the .rsw .gnd .gat .bmp files and it is working but the izlude map has areas that isnt walkable anymore.

     

    I have followed your guide but it didnt work for me.

     

    BTW in the weemapcahce you cant put .rsw so i put .gat file of the old izlude map

    and its not working.

    Some NPCs are gone because of map?

    I have downloaded kro client with christmas themes in maps like prontera and some other maps are like alberta or izlude are different or wide which causes some warp portals placed in different locations and some NPCs gone like the turtle dungeon warper in alberta.

    How to resolve this? or how to revert maps back to original like the prontera without the christmas theme, alberta and izlude back to original?

    Data folder to grf

    I have downloaded latest kRO client and it has data.grf which has clientinfo.xml and it has data folder which has clientinfo.xml

    how to clean data folder and make it grf?

    so that I can patch easily everytime i add something new in the data folder.

    NPC pre-re wrong

    I have already done this.

    that's why i was able to edit on the npc/pre re/ folder and was working fine.

    was there any implications if some folder in the npc/pre re was moved out to /npc/ accidentaly?

    Now, I'm editing at the /npc/ folder even though it is pre renewal.

    NPC pre-re wrong

    I have changed rathena to pre-renewal.

    I was modifyng npc at pre-re folder and was working fine..

    until such time when i edit at npc/pre-re its not working anymore

    and when I edit at the base /npc/ it is working.

     

    I think it is looking at the npc folder instead of npc/pre-re

     

    How to revert so that I can edit in /npc/pre-re which is the right thing?
