  1. The guide in the line above is what I used and it worked well for me. Just be sure to follow the instructions carefully and all should work out for you. Just one bit of advice when it comes to the part of compiling rAthena and it tells you to use rAthena-10.sln just be aware that project file only works on Visual Studio C++ 2010, if you obtain the newest version of VS from Microsoft's website like I did and couldn't find an older version just keep in mind you'll need to use the rAthena-14.sln instead because if you try to follow the instructions to the letter in that topic the OP doesn't mention this and trying to load an older project file instead it will try to convert it to a newer format and the compile process will fail. I have an offline server running a client of 2015-11-04a which fairly recent (At least the newest I could find on these forums, and I'd be willing to use a newer one too) If have any questions on setting up your offline server, I'll check in this topic periodically to answer any questions you have.
  2. 1920x1080 is my max resolution. I use a 32 Inch HDTV as a display via HDMI. As soon as I get the RO reinstalled and get the client stuff setup again, I'll see if that fixes the problem.
  3. Yeah that only increases the sizes of chat and npc dialog text. It doesn't change the size of the windows, login menus or status screens. I think something went wrong with the actual game install. I'm just going to scrap everything and reinstall and see if that fixes the problem. One thing I definitely noticed wrong was the original Setup.exe was missing which require me to grab Opensetup to begin with. So missing files means something clearly went wrong. I appreciate the help so far. If the problem persists after I reinstall the game, I'll make another status report.
  4. Yeah I changed both my desktop resolution as well as the game resolution. I'm going to try different compatibility modes and see if that fixes the problem. Unless someone else had this problem I'm not sure what solution I can use to fix it.
  5. I have recently created my own server for offline play. I got everything working properly. rAthena was properly compiled, the SQL database is working, everything is good, except one thing. The in-game user interface is so small to the point of being illegible. I used opensetup to configure my settings. I will note the last time I played this game was a few months ago on a backed up server using eAthena so I decided to scrap that and update everything to the newest client based on Renewal I could find (2015 -11-04a), so this is my first time using rAthena for my server software. My PC is more than capable of running this game (i5 3570k, HD7950, 8GB of Ram, and on Windows 10) I set the games compatibility to Win XP mode, even tried adjusting for DPI scaling but nothing works. I've even tried multiple resolutions as low as 800x600 to to my maximum of 1920x1080 and no matter what resolution I use the UI is small as you can see in the screenshot and is almost impossible to read. The server software wouldn't create this issue. The only thing I can think of is some strange client issue. Is there anything that can be done to fix the UI scaling. Thanks.

    Hello

Well now, this is interesting. I've been a member of the eAthena community since 2005, it's about time I migrated here to keep up to date with the latest in all that is regards to Ragnarok Online. I'm not a heavy poster but I'll probably make the occasional comment. Well it's good to be here and hope to see this community thrive and wish all the success on the rAthena project.
