    Application Failed to Start

    Good Day,

    I am having an issue with my client. Basically this one used to work, then 2 days ago my system crashed, I recovered these client *files* from my flash drive, I thought I was lucky to have saved a backup. However, to my dismay, whenever I launch my exe file now, it prompts me an error :

    - I tried to diff/hexed the client, thinking it would help but did not work for me. I tried searching the net and any related articles, followed instructions e.g. installing .net framework, but did not work as well. I didnt change anything on my client files. Please help.

    Good Day,

    This one could be simple, but I tried searching for related topics but I guess I really cant find any =(

    - I am trying to change the "start_point" for my map, and restarted my server. But still it respawns to the training ground. I tried the format "start_point: mapname 100 100" and "start_point: mapname 100,100" and still the same. When I create a character, it shows that may map is "Training Ground"

    I am using r16213 and client 0315. Please help =(

    Good day Rathena people.

    Here is the scenario:

    When I start my client, I can see the log-in screen, but whenever I try to log-in, it is giving me an error pop-up.

    ... I tried searching but I can't find a clear resolution on this one. Please help .

    you mean you are using 2011-08-24bRagExeRe client and put #define PACKETVER 20111116 on mmo.h? - Ive just changed it to 20110824 .. then have it recompiled. but still the same.

    I can create a character, but when I log in, it gives me Rejected from Server(3) . May I ask for an advise, which SVN Revision works fine with which.. I guess my last resort is to do it once again =( .. But I would really want to resolve it if I still can.

    1. 1. Check your char_athena.conf, login_athena.conf, map_athena.conf and make your WAN/Local IP is correct = did this and its correct

    2. 2. Your PACKETVER in mmo.h should match your client version( /trunk/src/common/mmo.h ) #define PACKETVER 20111116

    - this is what I've got:

    3. Check your clientinfo.xml / sclientinfo.xml and make sure everything you put there is correct. The address in your clientinfo.xml / sclientinfo.xml should be the same with the address you put in map_athena.conf

    Help, I've just setup my server. I'ts now saying its online on my host. I was able to successfully create my SQL tables (if thats what you call it).

    I can reate a character, and the account shows on my login database.

    But when I select my character to log in, it gives me "Rejected from Server(3)" error then closes the window. If I try it again, it will say "Server recognizes your log in(something like that)" then closes the window.

    mmo.h - shows normal

    and I also tried the steps mentioned on the other threads.

    Account ID: currently I have registered is 2000000, 2000001

    ... Forgive my Noob question...

    but does this matter?

    Good Day.

    I am not sure if I am allowed to do this, but does anyone know or has the link for a particular map that is being sold.

    It's worth 10$ the last time I checked it. However, my computer crashed and had it reformatted.

    Its like a PVP / Bet Match Arena, with boxes, wherein people can sit or stand or walk on those cargo boxes, there's a spotlight at the center , with a big post....

    kindly help me.. im dying to subscribe to that map .. =)) its gonna be cool for my Bet Match Events... Thank you...
