I solved the problem that is due to the fact that I use custom styles and colors hair.
Client side I simply renamed the image and color files of the hair styles of the interface to create new characters and now at least for the human race styles and colors fit all... the problem is that now I had hair colors of the Doram/Summoner that were not aligned with the selection, so I renamed the Doram race palette files (file 1 became 8, the 2 became 1, the 3 became 2 etc etc.) and now all work!
I leave this post for posterity ?

    Thanks for the Info!

In which folder can I find the Doram/summoner hair colors? Also changing that would make the NPC's responsible for dying hair from dyestuff inaccurate (for Dorams at least), am I right?

  2. Did you make the added file input "Patch & Game EXE" when generating the thor file?

Also, maybe it would be better to make the new patcher  connected to a new mini.ini file with a new plist.txt. Just an idea that may help.

Personally, I think it would be better if they could make the patcher update feature in plist.txt.

    Good luck!

*Edit I have tested that I think you are guys right. The problem is from the edition of this patcher itself.

  3. Hi guys

In some languages, the writing direction is from right to left, such as Hebrew, which is the opposite of English writing style. However, almost all Ragnarok clients that we have don't support displaying NPC's messages from right to left. Therefore, I was wondering if you could help me make any client change the direction of displaying the text of NPCs from the right to the left. I have seen a client that have this kind of thing but I am not able to access to it anymore. So, how can we change that in the clients we are using today?

I have attached a picture that shows what I mentioned, I know that it is in English but just to let you guys get the idea of what i'm talking about.

    Thank you!

  4. Hi guys!

I wanted to make a change in a phrase but I couldn't find the file that contained the phrase.

the phrase is " Total : (amount) Zeny " and it is shown when you buy items from a dealer.

I thought it should have been in msgstringtable.txt, however, it wasn't there.

  5. Could you guys tell me where I can find

the file that contains ("Sitting" and other phrases) that are shown by the icons.

I would like to make changes in those phrases.

  6. Where did you attempt to change the encoding? But you're right, it's an encoding issue.

I attempted to change the collation of server, database and table and it didn't work.

look how the second character appears in my db (mysql):

but it is proper in the game

Now, let me explain the problem to you,

I added the alphabet of my language in the char_name_letters option, which is in the char_athena.conf file, and it worked well in the game.

    see here:

However, I was shocked when I checked the account in my fluxcp.

The name of the character that contained my language alphabet was not shown.  unsure.png

Does anybody have a clue how to solve this?

I have tried to change the encoding to utf8_general_ci, but it didn't work as well.

So far, I'm not sure what causes this problem.

    Thanks alot.
