It was indeed caused by the map files, specifically the RSW file. After I replaced it with the one from iRO 2010 I was able to enter the map just fine. I have attached the old files if anyone should have the same problem in the future. pay_arche_2010.zip

Hi everyone, I'm using the latest, fully updated kRO client (https://rathena.org/board/topic/106413-kro-full-client-2017-04-11-includes-bgm-rsu/) in combination with the 2012-10-04 exe and the latest rAthena (pre-re). When I, or anyone else using this combination, enters the map pay_arche, where the entrance to Payon dungeon is, the client crashes. Sometimes with a Gravity error, sometimes it says the application stopped working. Using the 2015-11-04 exe there's no crash, but I'd like to use the 2012 one. Since the 2015 exe doesn't crash, I assume something on the map changed, which the 2012 exe can't handle. It's not any scripts, because it happens with them disabled. Unfortunately I don't know where I might get the old map files to test if my theory is true. Does anybody know how to either fix this, or where to find the pay_arche map from 2012?

Hello everybody. I haven't played RO in a few years and just noticed the "new" link-element in the message window, that opens a browser window (IE). mes "<URL>Display Name<INFO>http://www.example.com/</INFO></URL>"; I think this might be useful, but trying it with the 2012-04-10 client the new window is always as small as possible. Does anybody know if there is a way to fix this? Is it my computer? Or the client? Thanks.

What Judas said. In Re you obviously have different stats, which results in different descriptions. And having a Pre-Re server with Re descriptions seems strange. (That's why I don't really understand why it's so hard to get your hands on Pre-Re data o.o) Thanks, Judas. I'll take a look at it. Edit: The files seem to be from 2005/2008, that's a bit too old^^

Pre-Re Even the earliest revisions in that repository are already Re, unless I'm missing something. Thanks though.

My guess would be he's looking for the un-"randomized" warps. A few years back (some?) p-servers didn't have the official warps, but they were ordered, so the parts would (mostly) fit together. It was much easier to navigate. (Or maybe it was the same on official servers? I actually don't know.) Your best bet would be to get an old eAthena and check the warps there.
