    3ceam mounts problem

    i have 3ceam rev 663.

    and using stable client 2010-07-28 packet version 25

    i want to implement mounts in my sever so i applied these patches

    recompile, its all good except i can't click the reins of mount item.

    questions:

    1. do i need to apply packet 26 and 28 for this to work?

    2. what is the compatible client for mounts in 3ceam? (please don't suggest those client with walk, inventory, delay. its annoying as hell)

    i have tried at least from 2010-07-28 to 2010-11-24 but same issue, i cant click the reins of mount item. it just sit in my inventory.

    Client problem setup file keep popping up

    Setup.exe runs when you open the client for the first time. If it keeps on popping out, it means it's not saving. Make sure you guys run the .exe as an administrator too. And patch your kRO and RagRE clients.

    well as I said only "win xp users are having problems" as for win 7 they can run the client w/o problems.

    i doubt that. im using windows 7 64bit

    i tried the following client...

    *2011-03-15a

    *2011-11-02a

    *2011-11-22a

    the setup.exe is fine with 03-15, but the problem occurs with 11-02, and 11-22

    i tried 4 different types of setup.exe already. and patch my client with "hklm to hkcu" diff, using this can cause setup.exe popping out for me. but with or without this i cant change the 11-02 and 11-22's resolution anything from 640x???

    i just found this topic from authors siggy. ok heres what i hate

    * no updates

    * not multi-language community, racial affairs.

    * corruption includes feeding, favoritsm

    * over powered donation item when dedicated but cant afford players effort become futile with just 20$ donation thats a crap.

    * staff inactiveness or maybe they are busy playin

    * drama when i cant take it anymore

    * strict rules

    im a player before i made my own server. and from the previous server that i played and quit with, i bundled those things i hate and learn from them when developing a server worth playing. /no1

    rathena doesn't have 2011-11-22 packets, only 2011-1102

    yeah i notice it. and the provided one is not working.

    ive been around testing 22 and 02 but has the same error like

    * body relocation not working properly

    * skill descriptions are in gebbirish

    * resolution cannot be change by setup.exe

    * and error when opening kafra storage by either @storage command or normal kafra option.

    so its either use the old working client but with delay or use the recent ones but need some fixing. just point me in the right direction i have all the time in the world to fix it.

    EDIT:

    i manage to make some improvements.

    * body relocations is now working but not the same as before - by applying some decompiled lua files

    * skill descriptions are now in english - same as above

    * kafra storage can now be opened again.

    except for this one last problem.

    * screen resolution cannot be changed.

    i tried 3 setup.exe already, apply diff "uncheck lua before lub".

    youre using the wrong lua file, it should be supporting the client you are using. r198 support latest client and not the one you using right now. and for the port make sure you port forward it into your modem/router. make sure you have also the right packet for that client.

    is not meant for 2011-11-02 or 2011-11-22 clients?? i thought i read something that you need latest lua files + same version lub files. if so can you point me where could i find old lua file versions?

    as for my ports. its forwarded already.

    does the packet_db.txt provided by rathena is not good enough?

    Still sounds like you have a bad match of data/lua for your client.

    Is this a GRF or your Rag Data folder, if you don't mind me asking?

    im using data folder.

    i already tried the decompiled version from Rytec

    it doesnt work for me. both v1 and v2

    i downloaded the 2011-11-22a here http://supportmii.com/ro1/Clients/

    and hexed them using shin's diff patcher + plugins.

    now im using 2011-03-15a same version as the provided client from rathena basic data folder

    its all good and such but it has a bit of delay. i really want to get my hands on this 2011-11-22a as so they say the most stable one.

    UPDATE:

    1.

    2011-11-22 client works for me now, by adding the right packet in trunk/db/packet_db.txt (in where did i find it, im not so sure anymore after reading dozens of related post, but im sure i found it here in rathena)

    and converting my client from data folder to .grf this fixed the (Failed to Authenticate Error)

    now my problem is....

    * everytime i open storage via @storage command. i get window error. and if i tried opening it with kafra npc normally. no window pops out.

    * client resolution doesnt change after setting up either red setup.exe or the new blue/ghostring like setup.exe

    has anyone have their 2011-11-22 working? mind sharing some? could help me a lot. thank Ra

    How to change resolution of 2011-11-22aRagexeRE.exe?

    I tried the new setup.exe which is still in korean but still won't follow the resolution I set.

    Any solution?

    dont diff your client with load lua before lub and read data folder first

    Doesnt help, I just tried that

    tried both the blue/ghostring setup and the red one. im having this resolution problem.

    it seems even with "read data folder first" the client still read .grf first.

    also i got disconnected when using @storage, and when i try to open kafra storage via kafra normally. no window is popping out.

    okay trying out the recommendations now. im using port 55555 since the default 6900 is occupied by the current server im running wiith. but if it could fix the error i dont mind shutting down for a bit.

    im using r198 Lua with 2011-11-22 Lub.

    downloading that data folder now....

    EDIT:

    tried out the recommendations its still the same.

    change the ports to default 6900,6121, and 5121

    change the version from 28 to 26

    applied the r198 lua & data folder translation

    still getting

    Failed to Authenticate. (5011) & Reject from the Server. (30)

    help disabling "#" command

    i just transfered from rathena and its command system is quite new to me. i just get a hang of groups.conf

    but what bothers me is the "#" commands.

    i want my server to disable this command for all except admin, since were strictly against corruption.

    how can i do that?

    When diffing your client uncheck "Load LUA Before LUB" if your using dis.

    Also run your client in Administrator Mode.

    P.S. You have to be 110% what client your using at all times, you need to edit mmo.h properly.

    -Sorry to hear about 3ceam closing :S

    i already tried both lua before lub and vise versa.

    my client runs in admin mode with compatibilities

    i know what client i have and change them in mmo.h already. still no luck. T_T

    actually, so amazing it could be, it was working! even I was quite astonished to see that ^^'

    but now I did update my server to Rathena 15542 version that use Packetver 28 but I can't achieve to make a .exe that work well (i.e.: with paketver define on 20111102 and using the same .exe version and just got a "failled to login (5011)" and the client close immediately, however using mikuru's Rathena.exe (2011-03-15) it just give me the classic info size error 136 and give me access to my first character (I KNOW THAT MEAN PACKETVER NOT THE RIGHT ONE xD!!!!!!) does someone know what did I probably miss when diffing?

    i have exactly the same mirror as this. im using the latest rathena. the Rathena.exe found in mikuru's is working just fine, but has some wierd delay when walking.

    im a 3ceam user, until i read theyre gonna be closing the project and there will be no more update. so im planning on switching to rathena. i dont mind a wipe, were done talking about it.

    what troubles me is the setup specifically client side again the hexing and stuff

    im using...

    r15832 (probably the latest i believe)

    rathena basic (by calciumkid along with its default client Rathena.exe)

    2011-11-22a RagRE.exe

    all seem to work fine with default Rathena.exe, but i want a hexed client of the most stable version. after sometime searching i think its 2011-11-22 or 2011-11-02 as judas suggested from other discussions.

    i tried hexing with shin's diff patcher.exe & its diff generator

    but when i try to run it it keeps popping an error message like...
