OK, I finally got it working, I didnt't have to change anything in mmo or packet_db. The problem was, that I was using the beginner-eathena-v4, but I should have been using the eA14808_Renewal Project [40] which is a Judas's premade server. The problem is fixed.

The thing is, that I run the game using the renewal client, because I can't run the game using Ragnarok, because it loades patches, but never finishes. Best solution would be a link for a server and a client that works together. ** this is what happens running ragnarok.

I didn't change anything. As I said I worked before, I can log in to the char. menu but i can't create a char. although once i added one manully but it said Unknown location, and the play buttom didn't response.

But it was working fine, plus i was playing only in 4 people maximum, it did the job greatly. BTW I used iRO-14.1.3-FullInstall-20121031-2012. What should i change to get i back to work?

Hello guys, I'm having an issue with the Beginner eAthena V4. I used to use it about a year ago and it was working all fine, no need to change anything. Just set up the IPs and go. Yesterday I installed my client, which I upgraded from a version 2012 added the data folder and renewel client+ setup. All good so far, then I use the Beginner eAthena V4 > startserver. Server was running all good. But then came the odd thing (yes, I have read already about it, and tried to do some changes as others were having the same problem, but I couldn't get it working). I start the renewel client (it was working a year ago, and I didn't update it) logged in create a new char. wrote its name creat > it was loading for a long time > disconnected from the server. In char server, it showed that someone created a char. so I run the game again> eathena log in but an error message shows up "character_info size error character num 0 character_info size 132" and no char was in the game. Ok I tried add a new one, but it says character creation denied. I changed the mmo.c file and the packet_db so that the version would be equal, but the problem is still there. Best answer would be a direct link, to a client and a eathena which go together, so I avoid all problems. Could anyone help me with that, thank you. *** Added more info. I can create a char., when i creat it in the second icon from the current one, but it is loading and then freezes. The new char. has no name, the space is blank, stats are blank, location is Unknown. But the start bottum works, but then an error rejected from server (3).
