All account and character names contain only letters. I have the same results using packetver 30 (20120410).

While I do realize many other people have had this problem, I have applied the fixes I found in most of them. My client is 2012-04-18. There are no errors when running the client. I've used the bypass client, diffing a client that was only modified to bypass, and diffing (incl. bypass) a client. rAthena was pulled from SVN last night. There are no errors when running the server. Packetver is defined to 20120418 and 31, each value where appropriate. And yet, "Character Creation is denied". While I do realize everyone's first instinct is to assume I'm a big noob, and it may yet be likely that I've missed something, I'd really appreciate some help. This is rAthena with pre-Renewal data, by the way.
