so i tried and failed quiet a number of times. to set up client and server though im feeling more confident in the server side is running. im having no luck with the client sort of things started with grabing the ragexe from http://rathena.org/board/topic/82726-2013-ragexe-and-diff-up-to-date-2013-07-03/ the one i chose was a newer one and it came from 2013-05-22Ragexe.exe http://k3dt.eu/Ragexe/unpacked/ i then used the Diff patcher version 2 from privous forum website the dl came from http://www.mediafire.com/download/fibc47gzvdshp8o/xDiffPatcher.zip tried to patch it with no avail it needed another file. I later found out i needed to use another file with this the specific one i chose was the Diff 2013-05-22 v8 (28/06/13) this one came from http://www.mediafire.com/download/f8xpzarvsl6950r/2013-05-22Ragexe.xdiff got stuck here. because i was un sure on what data folder to get the one from this http://rathena.org/board/topic/82726-2013-ragexe-and-diff-up-to-date-2013-07-03/ which was https://subversion.assembla.com/svn/client-side-translation/ or the one from http://rathena.org/board/topic/66962-basic-complete-renewal-data-english-folder/ :Data V4.0 following http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=CtDRZki3Hpo guide. which was pretty much dated although seeing as the server part worked well for me and is currently up. i chose the later datav4.0 so i go ahead and patch the 2013-05-22Ragexe.exe + Diff 2013-05-22 v8 with the Patcher and chose the setting from Allow space in guild name Change Gravity Error Handler Custom Window Title customWindowTitle Disable 4 Letter UserCharacter Limit Disable 4 Letter UserID Limit Disable 4 Letter UserPassword Limit Disable Ragexe Filename Check Disable Hallucination Wavy Screen Disable HShield Disable Packet Encryption Enable 64k Hairstyle Enable Ascii Enable Custom 3D Bones Enable Multiple GRFs Extended Chat Box Extended Chat Room Box ExtendNpcBox Extended PM Box Fix Camera Angles @ Bug Fix (Recommended) Ignore Missing File Error Ignore Missing Palette Error Increase Screenshot Quality Increase Headgear ViewID to 5000 Load ItemInfo.lua before lub KOREA ServiceType XML Fix Disable Quake skill effect Read Data Folder First Read msgstringtable.txt Read questid2display.txt Remove Gravity Ads Remove Gravity Logo Remove Hourly Annonce Remove Serial Display Disable Nagle Algorithm Shared Body Palettes Type1 Shared Head Palettes Type1 Skip License Screen Translate Client In English Use Custom Aura Sprites Use Normal Guild Brackets Use Ragnarok Icon using the patched .exe i tossed it in to the Ro file that i got off RMS, i went to the clientinfo.ini and made sure i set the version i think it was 36 next i started the grf with that Data V 4.0 that i stated earlier and named it the same as the .grf i later went in to the Ro folder and Created a data.ini and set it to 0 = .grf then tossed that in to the Ro folder then i went to server/mmo.h and made sure it was right packet version but still nothing worked pls if i missed anything let me know or if there is an up-to-date thread teaching or video showing what to do pls link it thank you for you time

ok so im redoing it again from scratch i dLed the kRo from RMS. though like in that video above i did not find this data.ini is it on server side or client side?

It's a ragnarok file which you will run your client side, and you can get all the files you need to fully complete your RO here " ratemyserver.net " look for kRO files and download the full... thank you verymuch Yoona. also thanks for the guides and commment you have posted through out the forums i find that you are very imformative. I will try what you said out and comeback shortly to give response to if that worked out or no t again thank you for your time

hi there i've been playing Ro in a private server for a few years(RebirthRo). Lately am trying to get a private server going for my daughters/friends and family. i have read through many posts in the forums. as well as watched the tutorials. from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtDRZki3Hpo&feature=player_embedded#at=14 as well as his page which is somewhat dated as it says in sharpino's page . im just wondering where i get the ragnarok folder he had in the youtubevideo. do i go to http://irowiki.org/wiki/Clients_and_Patches to get the iro dl? pls if you van direct me to a forum or help any pls let me know thank you. also not sure if it mattered but im also using : 2013-06-05Ragexe data_v4.0 thank you for your time
