  1. Ok, I've built the .grf file with the clientinfo.xml pointing to the server in my LAN and made a client too. Everything seems to work fine, but when I try to use the other .grf file which tells the client to connect to my DNS, after trying to log in, the executable crashes. Obviously I'm trying that from a pc outside my LAN. Any hints?
  2. I've set up the server and it is working fine. I now have to prepare all the necessary stuff for the client, however I don't know what I have to do. From what I've read, I need to diff an .exe, hex it to change the window name and other stuff and then build a .grf file. Many years ago I tried to set up a server and I remeber that I needed a data folder and a (s)clientinfo.xml to build the .grf. Can anybody please tell me all the steps I have to follow to make a proper client? I also add that the server is on a dedicated machine (IP 192.168.0.6) and that I'd like to make other users join the server from the outside (yes, the server files are already configured for that and also a dynamic dns is being used). I know I will have to make two different executables, one for me inside the LAN and another for external players, but I really don't know where to start. Thank you
