Hey, I've followed the rAthena wiki guide on setting up via TortoiseSVN, mySQL Workbench and Visual C++. I remember setting up a simple SVN TEXT to be a lot easier and didn't involve in said programs. Is there a way to set up a simple SVN TEXT that isn't necessarily forwarded by router and is only open via localhost, NOT to the public?
I'm pretty sure it's real simple, I've done it many times before but I seem to have forgotten how to actually launch my client and connect to my server. eAthena-TXT-14785[TrunkOLD].rar works best for me.
Q:
+ What files should I have?
+ Where should they be located?
+ Which client should be used, that doesn't contain sprite\shadow errors?
+ What folder should the client be in? (Should it be in the same folder with the batch files/runserver?)
+ Should the data folder be inside the same folder with the batch files? (to avoid client errors?)
+ Does it require a full kRO update?
+ Does it work with kRO Renewal?
If these questions are confusing, don't let them draw you from explaining what is NEEDED to run and launch a successful TEXT server.
