[transfering current server to another pc]

Hello,

What you need to do is backup your server files and mysql database then move to another computer.

if you are using phpmyadmin for mysql, theres export button for you to backup your database, point it to your "ragnarok" and "logs" database.

For server files, just copy the "rathena" folder then move to another computer, import database and start the server.

If you are using Windows 7,

Open a folder and click 'Organize' > 'Folder and Search options' > 'View' > and then untick 'Hide extensions for known file types' and 'OK'

After that, rename your client exe from 'YourRO.exe' to 'YourRO.dll' (include the extension)

Hello everyone this is possible for the client that can hide or if ever the player use the client will not open unless using a client patcher, so the client will open if they using a client patcher.

and to hide your client from player, usually I change the extension of the file from ".exe" to ".dll", then in the patcher set the executable to "yourro.dll" so the player will need to open via patcher everytime.

You, sir, need to obtain a new version of rathena. The current atcommand_athena.conf looks like THIS. The current groups.conf looks like THIS. To obtain a new version I would suggest that you follow this guide HERE.

How did you edit the atcommand conf?

and make sure you set

../conf/battle/gm.conf

// (@) GM Commands available only to GM's? (Note 1)
// set to 'No', Normal players (gm level 0) can use GM commands _IF_ you set the command level to 0.
// set to 'Yes', Normal players (gm level 0) can never use a GM command even if you set the command level to 0.
