Client Issues with Maps/Chars

Hello all, I'm experiencing some issues with my client that don't error out my servers, first off, When i run my servers, I have no errors or warnings appear, second, I go to my client and launch it and recieve the Luafile error [string "buf"]:10 attempt to call a global 'Iter_getTable' (a nil value), though if i just press ok it still brings up the service and log in screen, I can access the log in server perfectly, but when i log into the server to retrieve my characters i get the error: CHARACTER_INFO size error!! character num : 1 CHARACTER_INFO size : 132, it still allows me to proceed but when i try to select a character i made OR make a new character(I can pull up the stat modifier and name of the new character but that's it) it just goes to the please wait screen and rimes out after a short wait,

 

The server is set up for online access, so i can have people log into my server which does work but they also get the same issue with character/map loads.

 

I'm using the 2011-11-02aRagexeRE for the client and I use Shins Diff patcher with the WeeDiff Generator, If anyone has any thoughts that could help me out it would be greatly appreciated!!

Okay, modified my data folder a bit, I no longer get any errors when starting my client, I still get the char size error after the log in screen and i still can't connect to my maps client-side


Okay! I modified most of my files after I used a new client and it works great! thanks for the help!

I dont know...

try this Diff option

 

 

- Disable  Ragexe Filename Check

- Disable HShield

- Disable Packet Encryption

- Enable Multiple GRFs

-@ Bug Fix

- Ignore Missing File Error

- Ignore Missing Palette Error

- Increase Headgear ViewID to 5000

- Increase Zoom

- Load ItemInfo.lua before lub

- Read Data Folder First

- Read msgstringtable.txt

- Read questid2display.txt

- Translate Client In English

- Use Normal Guild Brackets

- Use Ragnarok Icon

- eXtract MsgStringTable.txt

- eXtract txt file strings

 

and then look at the clientinfo

Unfortunately it still didn't work, I'm not sure what to do about it... Thanks for trying though!

sounds like packet.h and mmo.h at first however I recommend you recheck if you are using the correct luafiles since most of those errors is coming from incorrect tables like data\luafiles or data\luafiles512 if the number is right.

 

just a thought, a user name themon already release a complete set of new client which enables rebellion sprite, why still use an old one ? <just a thought>
