  1. I am having a small problem with FluxCP when it come to donations.

In application.php I have the 'Server Address' as 183.202.xxx.xxx (the URL of my control panel obviously)

In application.php I have the 'PayPalIPNUrl' as www.paypal.com

Under my PayPal account I set up and activated an IPN with the IP http://183.202.xxx.x...e&action=notify

Ok so when I do a test donate to my server (through the control panel, obviously), the money xfers into my PayPal account fine. Good.

    My IPN history from paypal shows 12/2/2012 - 87658(message ID)30984 - Sent - 34098527(Transaction ID)2130948

So that means PayPal succesfully communicated and sent a notification to my CP. Good.

Next, the trouble starts. I do not get any credits for my donation.

    under paypal.log.php I get this:

    [2012-12-02 04:21:52] Received notification from 173.x.x.x (173.x.x.x)

[2012-12-02 04:21:52] Query string: cmd=_notify-validate&mc (a long line of code)

[2012-12-02 04:21:52] Establishing connection to PayPal server at www.paypal.com:80...

[2012-12-02 04:21:52] Failed to connect to PayPal server: [0] php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Temporary failure in name resolution

    [2012-12-02 04:21:52] Transaction invalid, aborting.

I am completely confused about what happens here. All I want is for the "Donation Credits" to Automatically go through. I feel like I am really close but possibly missing a step somewhere. Any help would be appreciated greatly.

  2. For some reason when a Monk/Champ is in Fury, their HP still regens. I have noticed several threads with people having the same problem, but none of the threads have a fix listed. Can anyone help me to make players under the Fury status have no SP regen?

  3. I have recently started bug testing on a server I plan to launch, and I am having problems with some songs. What happens:

I can't weapon swap to turn songs off. If I turn on bragi, switching to a different weapon should automatically cut the song off, but it doesn't. The song just stays on for the normal duration unless I use amp.

Where/what do I have to change to enable weapon/song swapping to work?

  4. I have been running a server on my local machine for the last 4 months while myself, and my team have been modifying scripts, grfs, tables, etc. We are currently finishing up the final details and preparing to set everything up on a dedicated host. The problem is, none of us are good at linux at all. We have been messing with things a little bit, but our complete lack of experience with linux is just making things happen with "a lot of learning on the fly/guesswork." I have decided I would rather reach out to the community here and pay someone who knows what they are doing instead of fighting through this for the next 2 weeks. Here is what I have:

I recently purchased a dedicated host on Datashack.net

The operating system I went with is CentOS

The control panel is called DirectAdmin

What I need is someone who has the know-how to enter my dedicated host, install everything that needs to be installed (vnc, mysql, etc etc), and help me get my server set up on the dedicated host w/ an operational control panel. I expect this person to be professional in a manner that I don't have to be paranoid about allowing you to access what you need to access through VNC viewer etc.

As far as payment goes, I would expect anyone who is up to the job to give me a quote of how many hours they expect to spend making this happen, and we can figure out a amicable price.

Either leave your skype name here, or message my forums inbox.

    My thanks in advance~

  5. I have been working on a server for almost 6 months now, and I am to the point where I am about to purchase some hosting for the server. I was reaching out to the community here to ask for some help on hosting.

Should I stick to a dedicated host? Or would VPS hosting be enough? I expect around 200 players online average, with more on during concentrated hours like WoE.

Any recommendations of a specific hosting site?

Any hosts I should stay away from?

Recommended Specs of a host for lowest lag worldwide?

    Recommended hosting location?

EDIT: Price isn't a huge issue here, I just don't want to be buying a super powerful machine and only use a fraction of its power when I could have spent less for the same results. Don't want to be throwing money away.
