[rathena does not compile]

Hello can anyone help me. I've tried everything.. both on ubuntu server and on CentOS but when I compile

"It doesn't work and when I try to start it appears"

[rathena4444@coquine rAthena]$ chmod a+x athena-start
[rathena4444@coquine rAthena]$ ./athena-start start

please some blessed soul to help me? explain to me what is going on?
