I found the problem, your video and your commend are different causing some people confuse.

- At your 1st video, time 4:44 and 8:57, the log database name is "rathena_logs", but your commend is "rathena_log".

We just need to make sure the log_db_db inside \rathena\conf\import-tmpl and MYSQL schema name are same.

Hi, I have a problem why every time I run the client nothing happen it show that my cursor is loading then after a sec's it stop but I can see it on my task manager it's running and using memory what could be the problem? please help

 

Using Win 8.1

 

Ya I'm also having the same issue. after I click the login from loki launcher, there is nothing come out but in the task manager I saw the loki launcher. Already tried to redo from step 1 to 6. Still cannot.

No, if you followed my steps perfectly, it should be online, and not local.

is that something need to change at clientinfo.xml? change the ip to my LAN ip or WAN ip?

your video doesn't say on editing the clientinfo.xml inside data folder before build to grf...

i know if just play by myself i can use 127.0.0.1 at the clientinfo.xml, but my friends cannot play...

So if i copy to my friends what ip should i change at the clientinfo.xml? and after change the clientif.xml sure my friend can play already? or still got others things?

Did you edit your data.ini?

yup, i done that

my data.ini

1=WLdata.grf(download from the link in your video,original name (data,about 60MB one))

2=rdata1.grf(download from ratemyserver)

3=rdata2.grf(download from ratemyserver)

4=data.grf(download from ratemyserver)

Hmm, A lot of people have had that issue with Visual Studio.. I don't know why it's not working for you guys, but it's working for me just fine. But yes, you do have to point the data.ini towards your GRF. I thought I did that, but I guess I didn't! Thank you for pointing this out, and I will make an annotation now for that. And for the screams, there is a file called ba_frostjoke inside your GRF which you can edit.

you mean the problem of visual studio cant run the rathena-10?

Here i got some solution:

1.Go to microsoft website to download the "Visual studio 2010 ultimate" iso file.(must be ISO)

2.Download "UltraISO"

3.use "ultraISO" to open the Visual studio and find the setup>setup.sdb

4.extract the setup.sdb, open with notepad and edit the "Product key" to this: YCFHQ9DWCYDKV88T2TMHG7BHP

5.drag the setup.sdb back to the ISO and then install the "virtual studio"~

6.now should be fine to open the rathena-10.
